Miscellaneous tips

Other things you might want to consider in helping to make this event an environmentally safe one:

-CARPOOL! Don't waste unnecessary amounts of gasoline! Also, carpooling promotes community. Why not talk to people (or get to know them better) by offering a ride? (Evite also provides a link on your invitation to either offer a carpool or ask to be part of one...please consider this...)

-Buy "grow-able" cards or Bloomin' Flower Cards (click the link and it will take you there) or make your own from reused materials (save a tree/s!) and give the guest something special to remember you by.

-Make ONE trip--and carpool if you can! Don't waste alot of gas by making multiple trips out shopping for gifts. Make a list ahead of time and get what you need on ONE trip. If you can, make plans to shop with other guests and ride in one car. You'll save on gas and have fun. (Or shop online and have your gifts sent directly to Karen in North Carolina!)

-Buy products with minimal packaging. Look for items that are sold as is, or without alot of plastic or paper packaging.

-See links at bottom of page for more "green" shopping ideas (including green cards/stationary, etc.)
